The Seattle Urban League Young Professionals (SULYP) was formed in 2004 to support emerging African American leaders by offering personal and professional development, networking and leadership opportunities. As a component of the National Urban League, Young Professional chapters across the United States emphasize five key areas of empowerment: education & youth, economic; health and quality of life; civic engagement & leadership; and civil rights & racial justice.
