SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Under direction of the Director of Fund Development, submits for approval and manages a large, diverse portfolio of public and private grants for funding of projects, programs and activities to achieve ULMS’s mission and performs related duties as assigned.
- Provides ULMS-wide grant research and monitors public and private funding source notices and publications to identify potential sources of funding relevant to ULMS’s strategic plan and its short- and long-term program goals and objectives.
- Writes grant proposals for the organization's programs as assigned, done in collaboration with appropriate organization program staff.
- Writes grants and proposals for funding.
- Updates eTapestry donor database (training provided).
- Reviews applications, including project descriptions and budgets, prior to submission to ensure grant requirements and funding source regulations have been met.
Prepares or reviews Board memos, resolutions, agreements and other documents related to securing grant approvals.
- Develops and maintains necessary grant files and correspondence.

- Utilizes exemplary interpersonal skills, and is able to interact with clients, staff and directors in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
- Greets and directs all visitors, including vendors, clients, job candidates and customers.
- Manages the company’s lobby area.
- Ensures completion of paperwork, sign-in and security procedures.
- Manages supply orders, catering orders, scheduling of meetings and conference rooms.
- Handles special administrative projects, as well as overflow work from departments and executive assistants.
