Any cash contribution is always welcomed and greatly appreciated. Contributions can be made online or over the phone using your Visa or MasterCard or mail a check made out to the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle or ULMS. A stock gift is an easy way to make a generous donation to the League while also realizing some potentially significant tax benefits. When you transfer stock directly to a non-profit organization as a donation, you do not pay capital gains tax on the sale of the stock.
Celebrate a significant occasion such as a birthday, anniversary, graduation, or wedding with a contribution to the League in honor of a loved one. You may also honor the life of a relative or friend with a gift to the League in their name.
